Low Voltage Electrician Technician (Marine/Industrial Environment)

We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Electrician Technician to support marine and industrial electrical systems in a fast-paced shipyard environment. This role involves installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low voltage electrical systems on vessels and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage electrical systems (typically under 50V)
- Work on marine electrical components including communication, alarm, control, and navigation systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Pull, route, terminate, and secure low voltage wiring and cabling
- Perform diagnostics to identify and repair electrical faults
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and marine/industrial regulations
- Collaborate with other trades and supervisors to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas onboard vessels or in shipyard settings
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Low Voltage Electrician Technician or similar role
- Experience in marine, industrial, or shipyard environments preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with control systems, instrumentation, or communication wiring
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work in physically demanding environments (confined spaces, heights, outdoor conditions)
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (if applicable)
