We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team! The ideal candidate takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for our guests.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned hotel areas according to company standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize guest rooms and common areas.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, toilets, showers, and other surfaces.
- Restock housekeeping carts and maintain adequate cleaning supplies.
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and readiness for arriving guests.
- Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and safety hazards to management.
- Remove trash and properly dispose of waste.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional housekeeping cart and work area.
- Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items.
- Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests and team members.
- Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, janitorial, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Friendly and professional communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and move linens, cleaning supplies, and other housekeeping materials.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
- Full-time and/or part-time opportunities may be available.
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
- Schedule may vary based on hotel occupancy and business needs.
