Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or van to transport items to various locations.
- Load and unload goods efficiently while ensuring the safety of all items during transit.
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries and pickups.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process.
- Assist in packing, wrapping, and securing items for transport.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or route driving is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license mandatory; a clean driving record is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in similar roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with loading and unloading techniques, as well as safe driving practices.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
