About the Role
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated Garage Door Installation Helper to join a team here in Missoula. This position supports lead installers with the assembly, installation, and repair of residential and commercial garage doors and openers. No prior garage door experience is required, we are willing to train the right person who is dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, servicing, and repairing garage doors and garage door openers
- Safely use hand and power tools (drills, impacts, ladders, saws, etc.)
- Help measure, lift, and position doors and materials
- Ensure all work meets company safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, truck, and tools
- Provide excellent customer service on every job site
- Follow instructions from the lead installer and work effectively as part of a team
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs routinely
- Comfortable working on ladders, in garages, and in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical or construction skills preferred 2+ years
- Ability to follow directions and show up on time daily
