Sales Manager (High-Ticket B2B & Retail)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00

Compensation: $75,000–$150,000+ (base + commission, DOE)

Location: In-person role (relocation considered)

Role Overview

This position blends inbound sales with proactive B2B business development. You’ll manage walk-in, phone, and online leads while building long-term relationships with contractors, fleets, and local businesses. Success comes from strong closing skills, disciplined follow-up, and a drive to create opportunities—not wait for them.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Close daily sales from walk-in, phone, and internet leads

  2. Maintain a clean, active pipeline with consistent follow-up

  3. Develop and grow B2B accounts (contractors, fleets, ag/ranch, municipalities, trades)

  4. Prospect outbound and expand territory through partnerships and local visibility

  5. Quickly learn products and confidently position value over competitors

  6. Understand basic parts and common repairs to guide customers

  7. Collaborate on inventory planning, turns, and margin protection

What Success Looks Like

  1. Strong close rates with protected gross profit

  2. Healthy inventory movement and minimal aging stock

  3. Repeat B2B business and growing accounts

  4. Organized, self-driven follow-up and pipeline management

Requirements

  1. Proven high-ticket sales experience (equipment, automotive, ag, construction, RV, powersports, etc.)

  2. Comfortable with B2B and fleet-style selling

  3. Strong communication skills and ability to learn quickly

  4. Coachable, competitive, and self-managed

  5. Commitment to an in-person, weekday schedule

Nice to Have

  1. Industry experience (equipment, trailers, ag, truck accessories)

  2. CRM discipline and digital lead handling

  3. Quoting, financing conversations, and inventory exposure
