Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Carpenter / General Laborer to join our team for residential construction projects. This position involves hands-on work in building, repairing, and maintaining residential structures. The ideal candidate has prior construction experience, a strong work ethic, and takes pride in showing up ready to work each day.
Responsibilities
- Assist with residential construction tasks including framing, finishing, and general carpentry work
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Perform general labor duties such as material handling, site cleanup, and assisting the owner
- Follow project instructions and maintain a safe, organized job site
- Work as part of a team to complete projects on time
Requirements
- Previous construction or carpentry experience required
- Must be reliable and show up consistently and on time
- Ability to commute to job sites
- Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks (lifting, standing, bending, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of tools and construction practices
