Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable Utility/Maintenance Associate to join a growing team at a local machinery manufacturer in Tonawanda, NY. This role is responsible for performing basic preventative maintenance tasks and assisting with shop support duties.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative maintenance including:
-
Changing air and fluid filters
-
Cleaning machinery and equipment
-
Painting surfaces and touch-ups
-
Manage facility cleanliness:
-
Empty garbage, recycling, and wood waste bins
-
Operate floor sweepers and floor cleaners
-
Assist machine shop operations:
-
Safely operate tools and equipment including:
Qualifications:
-
Entry level maintenance experience required
-
Willingness to learn and take direction
-
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
-
Experience with forklifts or pump trucks is a plus but willing to train
-
Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment such as floor cleaners, sweepers, etc.
