Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Packaging Associate for a candy manufacturer and retailer in Tonawanda, NY.
Shift Hours: 8:30AM-4:30PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently packages a variety of candies and confectionery items, weighing and arranging them in bags, boxes or containers.
- Accurately label products with names, descriptions, ingredients, allergen information, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Inspect packaged products for quality, checking for proper sealing and cleanliness, and address any defects.
- Apply decorative elements like ribbons and bows to enhance product presentation.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of working in a manufacturing environment
- Basic math skills
- Able to lift 50lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.
