Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Logistics & Repair Technicican for a local manufacturing company that specializes in quality, esthetic dentistry located in Amherst, NY.
**This position is currently projected to be needed for a 6 month period, subject to extend
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Payrate: $21-23/hr BOE
Position Overview
The Repair Associate is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing equipment, performing basic functional tests on customer and loaner devices, and supporting logistics within the repair workflow. This role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced technical environment.
Job Responsibilities
Shipping& Logistics
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments for in-house and field repair operations.
- Unpack, inspect, and verify delivered devices/components using customer documentation or system records.
- Update transaction and processing statuses in internal systems.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts of customer and loaner equipment.
- Stage inspected goods in designated storage areas and transport materials to required workstations.
- Prepare, pick, and pack goods/equipment for shipment according to established guidelines.
- Coordinate handoff of shipments with transport and freight partners.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners to obtain necessary information.
Testing & Quality Control
- Perform basic functional tests on customer and loaner devices.
- Complete function and performance testing after repairs are completed and before outbound shipment.
- Conduct safety-related device tests as required by guidelines.
- Identify and report irregularities, damage, or anomalies with supporting documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, and/or manufacturing required.
- Experience performing equipment testing is preferred.
- Experience with basic hand tools required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours and move throughout facility as needed.
