Job Full Description
Express Employment Professional is currently hiring for a Machine Operator Assistant for our client in Buffalo, NY. Their product/service lines include metal fabrication, stairs, rooftop supports, Unistrut, system installation and traffic safety.
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $18.63-21.57/hour based on experience
Duties:
- Assist the Machine Operators on shear cutting, cobot welding, saw, or assembling machinery
- Help place and remove pieces from the machine.
- Must have excellent tape measuring skills and mechanical ability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating machinery.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and move for the duration of a shift.
- Steel-toe boots required.
- Reliable transportation.
