Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is now seeking a Warehouse Extrusion Line Helper for a manufacturing company in Pollocksville, NC.
The Warehouse Extrusion Line Helper will be responsible for any function related to keeping the line running: getting supplies, staging equipment, taking sheets off the line as they are made, packaging, labeling, record keeping, general maintenance and warehouse upkeep/cleaning.
Schedule: Mon-Thursday ( Some Fridays for overtime)
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, 12 hour shifts
Pay: $14/hour, long-term position
Position Summary:
- Feed raw materials into machines and ensure continuous operation

Cut plastic sheets as they are produced

Start and change rolls on the extrusion line

Monitor machines during operation to detect malfunctions or quality issues

Perform basic quality control checks on finished products

Remove and recycle defective materials as needed

Retrieve and stage raw materials, supplies, and equipment for production

Package and label finished sheets according to specifications

Move materials, rolls, and products using forklifts or other material handling equipment

Maintain accurate records of materials used, production output, and any issues

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and general cleaning

Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
- Assist in minor maintenance and upkeep of equipment
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
- Lift up to 50 lbs, repetitively twist and turn, and stand for 12 hour shifts.
- Must be able to pass background check requirement and drug test.
