Job Summary:
We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Electricians to join our team at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. This role is ideal for candidates with at least 5 years of electrical experience who are committed to quality craftsmanship, safety, and productivity. Candidates will be placed at the appropriate level (1, 2, or 3) based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all electrical tasks with minimal supervision
- Supervise and direct other electricians and apprentices (as applicable)
- Interpret and work from prints, schematics, and job specifications
- Safely work from heights up to 90 feet using ladders, scaffolds, or lifts
- Identify wire colors, perform accurate conduit bending, and install systems to code
- Operate various power tools and equipment (e.g., saws, wire pullers, threading machines, trenchers, backhoes)
- Work in all weather conditions and confined spaces (crawlspaces, utility tunnels, electrical vaults)
- Follow company safety policies, including PPE use, haz-com, and lockout/tagout procedures
- Maintain organized workspaces and ensure tools are stored safely
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of professional electrical experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must provide own tools and wear a tool belt on site
- Ability to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work overhead or in physically demanding environments
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Must pass drug screening
Skill Levels:
Level 1:
- 5 years of experience
- Understands punctuality, basic directions, and production demands
- Own tools; some classroom or theory background
Level 2:
- All Level 1 qualifications
- 5–6 years of experience
- Reads prints/specs, has working code knowledge, communicates and collaborates with teams
Level 3:
- All Level 1 & 2 qualifications
- Advanced code knowledge
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to lay out jobs, identify material/tool needs, and supervise teams effectively
