Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Location: New Bern, NC
Pay Rate: $13.50/hour to start (increases to $15/hour once permanent)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in New Bern, NC. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for operating forklifts and pallet jacks, handling warehouse tasks, and assisting customers with their orders.
Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials

Load and unload trucks for delivery and shipments

Restock warehouse inventory as needed

Assist customers with picking up and loading orders

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all safety policies and procedures

Perform general warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements:

Proven forklift operation experience (certification preferred)

Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Team-oriented and dependable
