Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and operation of industrial equipment and facility systems. This role requires a strong electrical maintenance background and the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical and utility systems. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, equipment, and controls.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Maintain and service HVAC systems, boilers, air compressors, and chillers.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance concerns before they impact operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Complete weekly inventory tracking, rolling task list updates, and other computer-based administrative tasks.
- Follow all safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Strong industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical controls, motors, drives, panels, and circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience maintaining HVAC systems, boilers, air compressors, and chillers.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
- Experience with inventory tracking and maintenance documentation.
- Technical certification, vocational training, or related maintenance education is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
