Job Full Description
A Fargo, ND area company is seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic to join their team. This year-round position involves maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, including directional drills, dozers, mini excavators, pickups, large trucks, and trailers. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance. Experience operating equipment is a plus, as there may be opportunities to assist crews during slower shop periods in the summer.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, with overtime available during peak seasons
- Pay: $35+/hour DOE
- Travel: No overnight travel required
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
- CDL is preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to assist in the field when needed
