2–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or as an automotive mechanic (food industry experience preferred)

Strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings for millwrighting

Skilled in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various equipment
-
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
-
Hands-on experience with conveyors, PLCs, welding processes/equipment, drill press, packaging machinery, trailers, scales, grinders, hand and power tools, impact guns, bench grinders, and band saws

Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills (verbal and written)

Proficient with MS Office

Willingness to travel between Burlington, Millgrove, and Grand Bend facilities as required

Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods

Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and varied shifts

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all equipment, building systems, and machinery.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plant-wide equipment (mechanical, electrical, PLCs).
-
Report health and safety risks to the Maintenance Manager.

Install, align, disassemble, and relocate industrial machinery and mechanical equipment (pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, generators, etc.) according to layout plans using hand and power tools.

Clean, lubricate, and carry out routine maintenance on machinery as needed.

Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools as authorized.

Perform general building maintenance.

Follow all company policies, procedures, and occupational health and safety standards.

Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
