We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic for a 1st shift position in Sidney, Ohio. This full-time role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented professional with previous hands-on automotive repair experience and strong mechanical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair engines, brake systems, and transmissions
- Inspect, maintain, and repair steering and suspension systems
- Perform routine automotive maintenance and preventative services
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
Qualifications
- Previous hands-on automotive repair experience required
- Strong knowledge of:
- Engine diagnostics and repair
- Brake systems and components
- Transmission service and troubleshooting
- Steering and suspension systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Skills
- ASE Certification (preferred)
- Experience with automotive diagnostic software and scanners
- Strong communication and customer service skills
