Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Job Summary

Express Employment is seeking a dependable Fence Installer for a growing construction team in Troy, Ohio. This position involves installing residential and commercial fencing, measuring and preparing job sites, setting posts, and building quality fence systems while maintaining safety and craftsmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate job sites and measure installation areas to determine proper fence layout and placement.
• Dig post holes and securely set fence posts at the correct depth, height, and alignment.
• Assemble and install fence sections according to project specifications and customer requirements.
• Use construction tools and equipment, including post hole diggers, levels, tape measures, saws, hammers, nail guns, and concrete mixers.
• Verify measurements and maintain accurate layouts to ensure quality installation.
• Travel to job sites and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

• Prior construction experience required.
• Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Basic measuring, layout, and construction knowledge.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous fence installation experience.
• Experience working with hand and power tools in an outdoor construction environment.
• Ability to interpret project measurements and installation specifications.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction tasks throughout the workday.
