Job Description
A growing manufacturing and fabrication company in Versailles, OH is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Shop Floor Associate to join their team. This is a hands-on, multi-functional position ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, building and assembling products, and taking pride in quality workmanship.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work comfortably in a shop environment. Experience with hand tools, fabrication, woodworking, assembly, painting, or general manufacturing is highly valued. Pay starts at $20/hour and may be higher for the right candidate based on experience and skill set.
Responsibilities
Use a variety of hand tools and basic shop equipment
Cut parts and materials according to specifications
Build and assemble frames, cabinets, and other components
Assist with finishing work, including painting and staining
Prepare materials and components for production
Assist with shipping and receiving activities
Load, unload, organize, and move materials as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop floor
Provide general support across various areas of the shop
Follow instructions, measurements, and quality standards carefully
Perform other hands-on duties as needed to support daily operations
Qualifications
Mechanically inclined with a natural ability to work with tools and equipment
Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, carpentry, assembly, woodworking, or a similar hands-on environment preferred
Comfortable using hand tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to measure, cut, assemble, and work from basic instructions
Dependable, hardworking, and willing to perform a variety of tasks
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
