Job Summary

Express Employment is seeking a Facilities Services Technician for a 2nd shift opportunity in Piqua, OH. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment through custodial services, facility upkeep, event support, and minor building maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, breakrooms, common areas, and other facility spaces.
• Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, and floor care.
• Conduct routine inspections and respond to cleaning, sanitation, and facility-related service requests.
• Assist with event setup and teardown, including moving tables, chairs, furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform minor building maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and making basic facility repairs.
• Support exterior appearance efforts, including litter removal, seasonal cleanup, and snow and ice removal when needed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in custodial services, facility cleaning, building maintenance, or a related field.
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and follow established safety procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
