EHS Coordinator

Job Summary

Express Employment is seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator for a manufacturing facility in Botkins, OH. This full-time role is responsible for supporting environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring OSHA compliance, leading risk assessments, coordinating training initiatives, and maintaining environmental permitting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support environmental, health, and safety programs to promote a safe workplace and OSHA compliance.
• Conduct and manage risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), PPE evaluations, ergonomic assessments, Management of Change (MOC), and machine guarding reviews.
• Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and oversee corrective actions.
• Coordinate employee safety training, new hire orientations, emergency response training, and ongoing compliance initiatives.
• Maintain environmental permits, regulatory documentation, inspection records, and required reporting.
• Lead the onsite safety committee and Emergency Response Team while assisting with emergency preparedness plans and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
