Shop Coordinator
Pay: $15.00–$18.00/hr (based on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift
Location: Sidney, Ohio
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, customer focused Shop Coordinator to support daily shop operations, prepare accurate service quotes, and assist with auto glass installation and replacement. This role blends office duties, customer service, and hands on shop work—ideal for someone organized, personable, and mechanically inclined.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support — Answer incoming calls, greet walk in customers, and provide professional, friendly service.
Quotes & Estimates — Prepare accurate quotes for auto glass repair and replacement.
Work Order Management — Create work orders and order materials needed to complete jobs.
Business Development — Build and maintain relationships with local auto body shops to increase business.
Glass Installation — Install and replace windshields, back glass, side glass, and mirrors on personal and commercial vehicles.
Shipping & Receiving — Receive and check in UPS and FedEx deliveries.
Shop Upkeep — Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
Weekly Reporting — Complete and submit weekly reports to management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Customer service skills with strong communication abilities
Organizational & time management skills
Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Typing and data entry accuracy
Strong math skills for preparing quotes
Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" and 1/32"
Experience using hand and power tools
Automotive, glass installation, or body shop experience preferred
