Production Associate
Location: Wapakoneta, OH
Shift:
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:00 AM
Pay:
- 2nd Shift: $18.50/hr
- 3rd Shift: $19.20/hr

Job Summary
Express Employment is seeking Production Associates for a manufacturing facility in Wapakoneta, Ohio. This position supports production operations through material handling, product packaging, quality inspections, and general production assistance while rotating between departments based on production needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle racking and un-racking of products on plating and powder coating lines.
- Package, label, and prepare products for shipment, including shrink wrapping.
- Perform visual quality inspections and complete required SPC documentation.
- Assist with finishing operations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Support various production departments and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Assist with Production Coordinator tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math, measurement, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to complete SPC charts and production documentation.
- Flexibility to rotate between workstations and job assignments.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, packaging, or material handling.
- Familiarity with SPC processes and quality control procedures.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, and protractors.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform visual inspections with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an environment involving packaging, sorting, and production support tasks.
- Comfortable working around noise, dust, oils, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
