Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing

Location: Sidney, Ohio
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $20.00+ per hour (Based on Experience)
Overtime: As Needed

Job Summary

Express Employment is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Sidney, Ohio. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, machinery, and facility systems while helping ensure safe, efficient daily operations and minimizing equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Complete routine building maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, and seasonal facility upkeep.
• Inspect machinery and facility systems and communicate major repair needs to management.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition while following all safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
