Job Summary

Express Employment is seeking a dependable Heat Treat Operator for a manufacturing facility in St. Marys, Ohio. This role is responsible for operating heat treat furnaces, monitoring production processes, performing quality inspections, and maintaining safe and efficient operations to meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload heat treat furnaces according to production schedules.
• Operate furnaces using established processing recipes and monitor critical process parameters.
• Perform hardness, surface, and other required quality checks during production runs.
• Stage materials for production and maintain an organized work area.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
• Report equipment concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel and follow all safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to pass required pre-employment screening assessments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and basic math abilities.
• Ability to read and use gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Ability to verify product tolerances and quality requirements.
• Ability to accurately complete production and quality records.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and established furnace operating procedures while communicating professionally with team members.
