Glazier – Commercial Glass Installation
Pay: $18/hr
Location: Piqua, OH
Industry: Commercial Construction / Glass Installation
We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Glazier to join our team. The Glazier will be responsible for preparing for and completing commercial glass installation projects safely, efficiently, and accurately while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Remove and install glass products in commercial applications
- Measure and cut glass to precise specifications
- Safely handle, transport, and install glass and related materials
- Use hand tools and other tools of the trade for preparation, installation, and quality control
- Complete installation projects accurately and efficiently
- Identify and resolve job-site issues as they arise
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment
- Work both indoors and outdoors on commercial construction sites
- Work at heights and in various weather conditions
Requirements
- Strong work history with a dependable and hardworking attitude
- Previous construction, glazing, or caulking experience preferred
- Experience with perimeter sealing, expansion joints, structural silicone, or backer rod installation strongly preferred
- Ability to accurately measure and work with precision
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work safely in all weather conditions and at elevated heights
- Physical stamina to perform the essential duties of the position
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training is a plus
- Positive "Can Do-Want To" attitude
- Punctual, dependable, and committed to building a long-term career
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work extended hours and Saturdays when needed to meet customer demands
