Job Full Description
Position Summary
The Shop Hand supports daily shop operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This position assists technicians, mechanics, welders, and other shop personnel with equipment handling, material preparation, inventory management, and general labor tasks.
Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, yard, and work areas.
- Assist technicians and tradespeople with projects and repairs.
- Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other shop equipment as authorized.
- Clean, inspect, and prepare tools and equipment for use.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocking supplies.
- Receive, organize, and store incoming materials and shipments.
- Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmental and safety requirements.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures.
