Logistics Technician
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 / hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (May work occasional overtime)

Job Duties:
- Responsible for performing routine clerical duties such as maintaining and routing incoming and outgoing shipping.
- Maintain computerized shipping and receiving records.
- Maintain, coordinate, and perform shipping to customers outside of local delivery area.
- Manage Outgoing and Incoming Shipments: receive shipments and route the shipments and paperwork to appropriate departments, ship packages domestically and internationally using various carriers (ex. – FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc., obtain shipping requirements from Sales Team for orders).
- Maintain verification and shipping function for Outsourced Vendor List.
- Palletizing and strapping outgoing shipments as required.
- Perform incoming verification on material as required.
- Perform administrative tasks to support KoMiCo operations
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Adhere to all policies and procedures including Work Instructions and SOP’s.
- Successfully pass and maintain clean DMV driving records for insurability.
- Cross train to cover other areas when needed.
- Basic computer, MS office, and QuickBooks skills.
- Clean MVR and valid driver’s license.
- The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Work independently and use good judgment.
- Demonstrate pro-active attitudes, practices and behaviors for organizational goal attainment.
- Ability to coordinate activities effectively and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Complete projects and assignments in agreed upon timeframes.
- All other related tasks and assignments as needed.

- Able to navigate stairs and ladders and access confined and tight space areas.
- Able to work within diverse work environments; i.e. Cleanroom, Office, & Outdoors.
- Occasional lifting pushing and pulling of up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional bending and squatting in order to reach in difficult to reach areas.
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to type, write and perform other repetitive motions for long periods of time.
- Must follow all Environmental Health and Safety procedures and understand the impact of position on safety and environment.
- Must thoroughly understand consequences of failure to follow operational and EHS procedures.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of related logistics, shipping, or warehouse experience required
