Plating Technician
Day & Swing Shift Opportunities Available
Pay: $19.00 - $20.90 / hour (depending on shift)
Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Swing Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements:
- Ability to perform operator level department tasks
- Good communication and training skills
- Able to maintain lead level responsibilities
Tasks:
- Operation of one or more of the following lines and the tasks listed below for each – Copper plate, Copper flash, Nickel plate, Gold plate and Gold tip plating
- Machine start up and shut down
- Staging work for production (racking/ un-racking, taping/ un-taping)
- Operating plating related equipment
- Measuring plating thickness
- Chemical additions (if applicable to line)
- Preventative maintenance on equipment and housekeeping
- Hazardous waste material handling
- Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all safety and company policies
- Follow all department processes, procedures and related specs to produce quality work
- Safety, quality, and productivity record keeping
- Assist the supervisor utilizing employees and equipment to maintain low manufacturing costs
- Assume the supervisor’s responsibilities in their absence
- Assist the supervisor in maintaining high quality and productivity
- Be a good, positive role model. Motivate and encourage team members
- Support the quality policy
