Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fabricator to join a fast-paced production team. The primary responsibility of this role is hands-on fabrication of specialized rubber sleeves using power tools and adhesive processes. Over time, the Fabricator will also learn to operate CNC machinery, assemble products, and assist with warehouse and forklift tasks. This is a temp-to-hire position with opportunities for growth.
Job Description:
- Fabricate rubber components using power tools and gluing processes.
- Learn and operate CNC machinery to support production.
- Assemble final products accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with forklift operations and general warehouse duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Follow all safety guidelines and production procedures.
Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical skills and hand/finger dexterity.
- Experience with power tools (drills) and adhesive/glue application is a plus.
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable standing for most of an 8-hour shift (sitting on a stool occasionally).
- Punctual, dependable, and committed to good attendance.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively in a production environment.
Work Environment:
- Hands-on, fast-paced production setting.
- Workstations primarily standing; some sitting on a stool possible.
