Assembly Operator
Pay: $17.00 - $17.25 / hour
Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Swing Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Job Summary:
The Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling high-quality plastic components using ultrasonic welding, thermal insertion, drilling, and basic joining methods. This role requires following assembly workbooks, inspecting parts to meet quality standards, reporting production results, and maintaining a clean work area. Operators collaborate with the Assembly Lead and Supervisor to ensure products meet 98% or higher outgoing quality and support efficient, timely production.
Job Description:
- Ultrasonic welding.
- Thermal insertion.
- Basic joining (screws, riveting, etc.)
- Drilling operations.
- Use part counting scale.
- Review assembly workbook for current work order to be completed.
- Inspect work based on quality standards written out in work book.
- If quality check is to be done at the workstation, report results to the Assembly Lead once complete.
- Produce product at 98% outgoing quality or higher.
- Perform all job responsibilities to efficiently and effectively produce quality products in a timely manner.
- Inspect parts to ensure that standards are met and report deviations immediately to the supervisor.
- Report hourly production on production boards at each station.
- Clean work area at the end of each shift.

Education/Experience:
- Should have a high school Diploma or Equivalent. Prior work-related experience helpful.
