Shipping & Production Coordinator
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hours a day

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum one year of shipping experience using Oracle, SAP, or a similar ERP system.
- Minimum one year of experience with UPS WorldShip or comparable shipping software.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and email.
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dependable Shipping & Production Coordinator to join their team. This individual will initially focus on packaging products and supporting daily warehouse operations before learning shipping functions using Oracle and UPS WorldShip. This position also requires working with shared Excel spreadsheets and collaborating closely with the shipping and management teams.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential. The right candidate will have the opportunity to cross-train in additional production processes and advance their skills within the organization
Job Responsibilities:
Shipping & Logistics
- Coordinate and process outgoing shipments in a timely manner.
- Prepare and package products according to specifications and shipping requirements.
- Process shipments using Oracle ERP and UPS WorldShip software.
- Ensure products are properly packed based on transportation methods and routes.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with maintaining accurate stock records.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
Production Support
- Learn packaging procedures and assist with basic production tasks.
- Support various departments and cross-train in additional manufacturing processes.
- Work independently while maintaining strong communication with team members.
- Prepare reports and utilize email and Excel for daily operations.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
- Report and correct unsafe conditions.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse and work area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of shipping experience using Oracle, SAP, or a similar ERP system.
- Minimum one year of experience using UPS WorldShip or similar courier software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and write effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong attendance, punctuality, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Forklift experience or the ability to safely operate a forklift.
Preferred
- Three or more years of stockroom, warehouse, or logistics experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using shared spreadsheets and maintaining inventory records.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Lift materials up to approximately three feet from the ground.
- Stand and remain mobile for up to eight continuous hours.
- Possess good hand and finger dexterity.
- Demonstrate spatial reasoning and attention to detail when packaging products.
- Wear required PPE throughout the shift, including:
- Safety-toe boots
- Safety glasses
- Gloves
- Bump hat
