Manufacturing Assembler
Duration: Assignment is expected to be temporary and run from July through October
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Manufacturing Assembler for a well-established local manufacturer. This temporary assignment is expected to run through October and is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, using tools, and building quality products in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Duties:
- Assemble plastic, rubber, and metal components according to work instructions.
- Install rubber sleeves, hose clamps, and additional hardware using hand and power tools.
- Operate production equipment, including a strapping machine.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain inventory at your workstation and keep your work area clean and organized.
- Follow all quality standards, safety procedures, and production schedules.
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative manufacturing team.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, construction, or trade experience preferred.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and remain mobile throughout an 8-9 hour shift.
- Frequently bend, twist, squat, and reach.
- Regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work in a warm manufacturing environment during the summer months (fans are available).
- Wear required PPE, including safety-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, and a bump hat.
This is a temporary assignment and is not expected to transition into a permanent position. Qualified candidates will complete an on-site walkthrough interview before placement.
