This position is for a Final Packaging Operator within a copper network cable manufacturing facility located in New Holland, PA. The role involves operating packaging equipment and preparing customer orders for shipment, as well as working with machines in the Twist, Cable, Tape, and Braid areas. Operators are responsible for packaging and labeling wire for stock and shipments, printing and applying customer part numbers, and ensuring all production and quality standards are met. Additional duties include cable testing, identifying and removing defects, using computers for labels and process documentation, and reading and understanding shop floor paperwork such as masters, process sheets, and SOPs. Candidates must be able to read, write, and comprehend documents in English, possess basic math and computer skills, and communicate effectively with team members. The position offers a starting pay of $20.00 or more based on experience, with a $1.75 shift premium for night shifts. The schedule follows a desirable 2-3-2 pattern with 12-hour overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, providing a balanced work-life rhythm. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and will be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
