Job Title: 3rd Shift Yard Jockey
Location: – Leola, PA
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM | Full-Time | Sunday through Thursday
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious 3rd Shift Yard Jockey to join our overnight operations team. The Yard Jockey will be responsible for moving trailers within the yard, ensuring timely and accurate placement for loading and unloading, and maintaining a safe and organized yard environment. Candidate must be proficient with Fork Lift and okay with being on a fork lift for part of the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely move trailers to and from loading docks and designated yard locations.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers.
Communicate with warehouse and transportation teams to coordinate trailer movements.
Maintain accurate records of trailer locations and movements.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and DOT regulations.
Assist with minor yard maintenance and equipment checks as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
Previous experience as a yard jockey or in a similar role preferred.
Ability to work independently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Must be able to work overnight hours consistently.
