We are seeking a Team Lead to oversee the Small Packaging area in our Animal Health Products production facility. This position involves blending and packaging animal health products, managing the production of multiple finished goods, and leading a team of 3–5 employees to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations of the small packaging area
Blend and prepare materials according to product specifications and safety protocols
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot packaging equipment
Oversee the filling and packaging of multiple finished goods
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards
Assign tasks, train team members, and manage team performance
Communicate with supervisors and other departments to meet production goals
Maintain accurate production and batch records
Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Prior experience in manufacturing, blending, or packaging (animal health, pharmaceutical, or food industry preferred)
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a production setting
Ability to follow detailed procedures and quality standards
Strong communication and organizational skills
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
Forklift experience a plus
