Job Full Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, machinery, and systems within the facility. This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and ensuring that all systems comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC issues to identify and resolve problems promptly.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize the risk of equipment breakdown and extend the life of machinery.
  • Inspect and test machinery and equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.
  • Record maintenance activities, work orders, and repair history in the maintenance management system.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests, performing repairs or adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and environmental policies.
  • Assist with installations, upgrades, and modifications of equipment and machinery.
  • Order parts and supplies for repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and regulations, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Provide support to other departments, assisting in machinery setups or troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in [industry].
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance work.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a maintenance setting.
