Join Our Team as an HR Generalist

We’re looking for a Human Resources Generalist who will support key areas of the HR function including Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, Compliance, and Performance Management. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a positive, productive, and legally compliant workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage bi-weekly payroll by reviewing and compiling time and attendance data from electronic time clocks.

  • Coordinate with supervisors to resolve any timekeeping discrepancies.

  • Administer HR policies, procedures, and compliance programs, ensuring consistency across all departments.

  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and HR policies and procedures manual.

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for exempt, non-exempt, student, and temporary roles, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Oversee benefits administration, including claims resolution, invoice approval, and employee communications on health, vision, dental, and paid time off.

  • Facilitate new employee orientation and manage career-pathing initiatives.

  • Act as an employee advocate, addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and offering coaching and support.

  • Support performance management programs, including evaluations, feedback processes, and incentive plans.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and benefit regulations.

  • Administer and manage the wellness program and learning management system (LMS).

  • Maintain up-to-date records in the HRIS and prepare HR reports as needed.

  • Contribute to developing HR goals and departmental initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.

  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.

  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR compliance requirements.
