Maintenance – Facilities Helper (Hotel)
Location: Lancaster, PA
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Pay: $18–$20 per hour (based on experience)
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance / Facilities Helper to support daily maintenance operations in a hotel environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe facility, and can respond quickly to maintenance needs to ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with general hotel maintenance and facility upkeep

Perform routine repairs including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC support, and carpentry

Complete preventative maintenance tasks and inspections

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests

Assist with room turns, furniture moves, and equipment setup

Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and storage rooms

Support exterior grounds maintenance as needed

Follow safety procedures and report hazards or repair needs

Assist with special projects and renovations as assigned
Qualifications
-
Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical systems

Ability to use hand and power tools safely

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

Good communication and customer service skills
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and kneel throughout the shift

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
