Pay: $20-23
Shift: Weekend (F-Sun 6:30am - 7pm)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our team in producing high-quality magnet powders. In this role, you will operate milling equipment and ensure materials meet precise specifications, contributing directly to our production and quality goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Follow all safety protocols when handling flammable powders, isopropyl alcohol, nitrogen/argon gases, and heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)

Safely operate overhead cranes and maintain a clean, organized work area

Prepare and clean mills, powder containers, and workstations according to established standards

Accurately weigh and load materials into mills

Operate and monitor milling machinery, including ball mills, jet mills (2:17 and 1:5), particle size analyzers, crushers, and nitrogen purge systems

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation

Continuously monitor milled materials for particle size accuracy and quality

Maintain production rates while adhering to quality standards

Record and verify production data in ERP systems, logs, and control charts

Conduct in-process inspections as required
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience

Ability to read and interpret part prints

Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
