Position Overview

We are seeking a driven Sales Executive / Territory Sales Representative to manage all sales activities within an assigned territory. This outside sales / field sales role is responsible for generating leads, closing new business, managing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth.

The ideal candidate has proven success in B2B sales, account development, and client relationship management—preferably within the produce, food service, or distribution industry. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery, customer satisfaction, and long-term account growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and close new business opportunities within an assigned sales territory.
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and prospective B2B clients.
  • Develop and execute targeted territory sales plans, including follow-up on leads and referrals.
  • Conduct client meetings and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and updated sales materials.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate internally with operations and service teams to support order fulfillment and delivery schedules.
  • Track sales activity, maintain accurate CRM records, and support collection efforts as needed.
  • Identify new market opportunities, provide competitive market feedback, and support sales initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in produce, food service, distribution, or related industries.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, persuasion, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of sales promotion and advertising techniques.
  • Professional appearance and ability to represent the company positively.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory and to client locations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, or overnight travel.
