Now Hiring: Quality Technician (Direct Hire) – $40,000–$50,000 – Swissvale, PA
Express Employment Professionals is now recruiting a Quality Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a growing manufacturer in Swissvale, PA. Location: Swissvale, PA (must be willing to travel between two local sites)
Start Date: ASAP
Position Type: Direct Hire
Pay Range: $40,000–$50,000 (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Primary Responsibilities:

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in quality assurance to ensure finished products meet all internal and customer specifications

Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015

Provide technical support to production, identifying and resolving quality issues through data analysis and root cause investigations

Lead corrective action processes using mechanical and glass science principles

Use precision measuring tools (including CMM equipment) for inspection and product compliance

Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings

Travel between two nearby locations as needed for inspections, audits, or issue resolution
Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in a technical, scientific, or manufacturing-related field (Bachelor’s preferred)

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing setting

Solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 or similar QMS

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems

Skilled in using CMM and manual inspection tools

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
-
Reliable transportation required (must be able to travel locally between sites)

Preferred: ASQ certification (CQE or CQA), APQP/PPAP experience, and/or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
