Maintenance Technician (Apartments)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15234
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00- 4:30pm
Type: Full time | On-site
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician on behalf of a local company servicing apartment and industrial properties in the Pittsburgh Area. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone experienced in general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of residential units.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in apartment units and industrial spaces
- painting, drywall repair, and patching
- basic plumbing repairs (leaks, fixtures, toilets, sinks, etc.)
- Maintain apartments during turnovers and occupied units
- troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete work orders efficiently
- ensure properties are safe, clean, and well-maintained
- use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Qualifications & Requirements:
- previous maintenance or handyman experience required
- knowledge of painting, drywall, and basic plumbing
- ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
- must wear work boots and appropriate work clothes
- physically able to perform manual labor, lifting, bending, and standing
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
