We are currently looking for a qualified Overhead Crane Operator for a company located in Hardeeville.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7AM-5PM (1/2-day Saturdays at times).
Job Responsibilities:
• Unloading stone slab inventory from Port Containers
• Filling orders of deliveries and using lift trucks to load slab stock onto A-Frames via flatbed tractor trailer
• Showing slabs to potential buyers
• Moving Slabs to better organize inventory
• Making local deliveries via non-CDL flatbed truck
Crane Operator Duties:
• Moving stone slabs by operating an overhead 5 or 7-ton bridge crane
General Warehouse:
• Maintain the warehouse building as it is a showroom for customers who intend to purchase stone slab inventory.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating a forklift
• Knowledge of operating an Overhead Crane.
• Working knowledge on how to handle Granite or Marble considered a plus
