We are currently looking for a qualified Freight Department Lead for a company located in Hardeeville.
Pay: $19.00/hr.
Schedule: M-F 8am-4pm
Job Responsibilities:

Process freight orders using the Flying Fish system

Create, update, and manage shipping and freight orders

Communicate with truck drivers regarding pickups, deliveries, and paperwork
-
Review and verify manifests for accuracy and completeness

Sort, organize, and file shipping documents by carrier
-
Ensure freight documentation complies with company and carrier requirements

Track shipments and resolve discrepancies or delays
-
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to support daily operations

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Provide general administrative support to the freight department
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
-
Previous freight, shipping, or logistics experience preferred

Experience using the Flying Fish system or similar freight software a plus

Strong communication skills; comfortable speaking with truck drivers and carriers

Basic computer and data entry skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Ability to read and verify manifests and shipping documents

Reliable, punctual, and dependable

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
