Job Full Description
We are currently looking for a qualified Pool Cleaner for a company located in Ridgeland, SC.
Pay: $19.00/hr.
Schedule: M-F 7:30am-4:30pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain residential and commercial swimming pools
- Test and balance pool chemicals to ensure proper water quality
- Skim debris, vacuum pools, and brush walls and tiles
- Inspect pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters
- Report maintenance or repair needs to supervisors or customers
- Add chemicals and treatments according to safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate service records and route schedules
- Ensure pools and surrounding areas are clean and presentable
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous pool cleaning or maintenance experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of pool chemicals, water testing, and balancing procedures a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Basic mechanical aptitude for identifying equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
