Job Full Description
We are currently looking for a qualified Rebar Fabricator for a company located in Hardeeville, SC.
Pay: $18.00/hr.
Schedule: M-F 7am-5pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Cut, bend, and shape rebar according to work orders and specifications
- Operate rebar fabrication machines and hand tools safely
- Measure materials accurately using tape measures and other tools
- Load, unload, and move rebar and other materials throughout the facility
- Assemble and tie rebar cages or structural components as required
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Assist with general labor and production tasks as assigned
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in rebar fabrication, construction, manufacturing, or general labor preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Experience reading work orders, blueprints, or fabrication drawings preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, or fabrication machinery is a plus
- Welding or metal fabrication experience is a plus
