Job Full Description
We are currently looking for a qualified Apartment Maintenance Tech for a company located in Beaufort, SC.
Pay: $25.00/hr.
Schedule: M-F with some Saturdays
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartments and common areas
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry issues
- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (make-ready/turnovers)
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
- Maintain grounds, buildings, and common areas as needed
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls when assigned
- Keep accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or general maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
- EPA Section 608 Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
