Job Full Description
We are currently looking for a qualified Maintenance Supervisor for a company located in Beaufort, SC.
Pay: $32.00/hr.
Schedule: + $160 weekly for being on call
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team
- Assign and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion
- Perform and oversee repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and other building systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and implement maintenance schedules
- Oversee apartment make-readies and ensure units are prepared for new residents
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in the on-call rotation
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and property standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident maintenance concerns promptly and professionally
- Train, mentor, and support maintenance technicians to promote a safe and efficient work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment maintenance experience required
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
- EPA Section 608 Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and property maintenance standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize work orders and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use maintenance software, work order systems, and basic computer programs
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
