We are currently looking for a qualified {Position} for a company located in {City and state}.
Pay: $65-80k/yr. (DOE)
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm or 3pm-11pm (Weekends needed)
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing warehouse distribution activities, ensuring efficient stocking, materials handling, and order fulfillment processes.
- Support transportation planning and management using transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize freight routes and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to oversee sourcing strategies, vendor management, and negotiation of shipping & receiving contracts.
- Utilize data analysis tools such as Tableau, SQL, and Excel for supply chain analytics, demand planning, and inventory management insights.
- Monitor and improve warehouse operations by analyzing root cause issues related to inventory discrepancies or process inefficiencies.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication among logistics providers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless supply chain flow.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards.
- Support the implementation of process improvements within warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 or similar.
- Contribute to cost analysis including pricing strategies, profit & loss assessments, and freight cost optimization.
- Participate in manual handling procedures when necessary to ensure safety standards are maintained during stock movement.
